Kuoro Abu Diaka Sukabe Ninia (V) Announces Bid for Upper West Regional Representative to the Council of State
Kuoro Abu Diaka Sukabe Ninia (V), the Paramount Chief and President of the Zini Traditional Council, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Upper West Regional Representative to the Council of State. His decision follows the provisions of Article 89(2)(c) of the 1992 Constitution and the Electoral Commission’s recent announcement on January 22, 2025.
In a heartfelt message to the people of the Upper West Region, Kuoro Abu Diaka expressed his deep sense of duty and commitment to serving the region at the highest advisory level of governance. He humbly called on the electoral college for their support, prayers, and votes, assuring them that in the coming days, he would share his experience, vision, and plans for advancing the interests of the region.

With a distinguished leadership background, Kuoro Abu Diaka brings a wealth of experience to the race. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Upper West Regional House of Chiefs and is a member of the National House of Chiefs, positions that have allowed him to advocate for the development and welfare of the region.
His announcement has already sparked conversations among traditional leaders, opinion leaders, and residents, many of whom believe his leadership will bring meaningful representation to the Upper West Region at the Council of State.
