IGP assures family of late Kotoko fan justice
The Ghana Police Service has delegated a psychologist to provide counselling services to the wife and children of the late Kotoko Football Club Fan, Francis Yaw Frimpong, popularly known as Pooley.
The Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare, made this known when he visited the deceased relatives in Kumasi and assured the police are investigating the incident and will ensure justice for the deceased.
Yaw Frimpong died after he was allegedly stabbed at a match between his team and Nsoatreman Football Club.
The IGP led a team of investigators and high-ranking officers of the Ghana Police Service to console the deceased relatives and to assure them of his outfit’s commitment to investigate and ensure justice in the matter.
