Chiewia Ladies Run Riot as U-15 Girls Colts League Action Continues in Tumu
The excitement surrounding the U-15 Girls Colts League in Tumu continued at the Tumu sports stadium Astro-Turf with another thrilling encounter as Chiewia Ladies delivered a dominant performance to defeat T.L. Ladies 4–0. The competition, being organized under the FIFA Women’s Football Development initiative through the Ghana Football Association and the Upper West Regional Football Association, is steadily becoming a true celebration of young female football talent in the region.

From the very first minutes, it was clear that Chiewia Ladies had arrived with purpose. They moved the ball confidently, communicated well, and showed hunger in every challenge. Their determination paid off early when, in the 10th minute, Nasiru Hariatu found the back of the net to give her side the lead. The goal set the tone and energized both the players and the supporters watching on.
T.I. Ladies tried to settle into the game, but Chiewia Ladies kept pushing forward with pace and coordination. In the 19th minute, Adamu Sadika extended the lead with a composed finish, showing maturity beyond her age. Before T.I. Ladies could fully recover, another blow followed almost immediately. In the 20th minute, Nagbelle Nuwalatu added a third goal, taking advantage of the momentum and leaving Chiewia firmly in control.

The attacking pressure from Chiewia Ladies did not slow down. They remained disciplined in midfield and solid at the back, preventing T.I. Ladies from creating clear scoring opportunities. Just as the second half kicked off, Nasiru Hariatu struck again from an indirect free kick to complete her brace, giving her side a comfortable 4–0 advantage.
As the second half progressed Chiewia Ladies showed maturity in managing the game. They maintained possession, stayed organized defensively, and avoided unnecessary risks. While no additional goals were scored, the match had already been decided by their first-half brilliance.
At the final whistle, Adamu Sadika was named the Most Promising Player of the match. Her work rate, confidence on the ball, and crucial contribution to the scoreline stood out and earned her well-deserved recognition.
