U15 Girls Regional Colts League Kicks Off in Upper West on 21/02/2026
Excitement is building across the Upper West Region as the U15 Girls Regional Colts League officially gets underway this Saturday, February 21, 2026. The opening round of matches is expected to bring together young talents, coaches, parents and football lovers for a memorable start to the season.
Matchday One will be played at two centres, BK Adama and the Tumu Astro-Turf, with four fixtures lined up to set the tone for the competition.
At BK Adama, AIP SC Ladies will face Upland Stars Ladies at 8:00am in the first game of the day. Both sides will be eager to make a strong statement in their opening match, knowing how important early points can be in a league of this nature. Later at 10:00am, Sung Shinning Ladies will battle All Stars Ladies in what promises to be another lively encounter as the young players look to showcase their skills and teamwork.
Over at the Tumu Astro-Turf, attention will turn to the clash between Falahia Ladies and Tumu Ladies at 8:00am. Playing at home, Tumu Ladies will be hoping to take advantage of familiar surroundings, but Falahia Ladies are equally determined to start their campaign on a winning note. The final fixture of the day will see T.I Ladies take on Chiewia Ladies at 10:00am to wrap up what is expected to be an entertaining opening round.
Beyond the competition itself, the league continues to play an important role in developing young female footballers in the region. It offers these girls a structured platform to grow, gain confidence, and compete at a higher level.
