Healthcare Boost as Sissala West MP Supports District with Vital Equipment
The Member of Parliament for the Sissala West Constituency, Hon. Mohammed Adams Sukparu has donated essential medical equipment to the Sissala West District Health Directorate to improve healthcare delivery in the area.
The presentation, made on September 23, 2025, included 15 mattresses, two delivery beds, one operation bed, and three ultrasound machines. As part of the allocation, one mattress each was designated for the Liplima and Niator communities, while one ultrasound machine went to the Jawia Health Centre and the remaining two were handed to the district hospital.
The MP assured the district hospital of additional support, pledging to provide a vehicle for medical doctors to facilitate their work. He also highlighted upcoming health infrastructure projects to be undertaken by the district assembly and government, including new CHPS compounds for communities such as Kusali and Sangbeka.
During the event, the MP expressed his appreciation to the health professionals and medical doctors who continue to serve in the Sissala West District, acknowledging their commitment to working under challenging conditions.
The equipment was officially handed over to the District Health Director on behalf of the health directorate.
