Kulfuo Dreams FC Humble Coach Tahiru Lamme’s Niibala 23 FC with a 3–0 Defeat in Division II Opener
The highly anticipated clash between Kulfuo Dreams FC and Niibala 23 FC ended in a resounding 3–0 victory for Kulfuo Dreams at the Tumu Astro Turf on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, as the 2025/26 Upper West Regional Division II League kicked off in Zone 3.
In what was a reunion of familiar faces, with both clubs having roots in Kulfuo. Coach Tahiru Lamme’s Niibala 23 FC endured a difficult start to life in the new season. Kulfuo Dreams showed dominance from the onset, controlling possession and punishing defensive lapses from the visitors.
Ganiu opened the scoring in the 31st minute and doubled the lead just 11 minutes later, putting Kulfuo in full control before halftime. After the break, Adam sealed the result with a fine finish in the 55th minute, securing all three points for the home side.
Coach Lamme’s men struggled to find cohesion and a cutting edge in the final third despite occasional moments of promise. The defeat means Niibala 23 FC will have to bounce back quickly as they look to establish their presence in Zone 3 following their relocation and rebranding from Kpunjinang FC.
Kulfuo Dreams FC, on the other hand, made a strong statement of intent with this convincing win, positioning themselves as early favorites in the race for the top spot.
