Confidence ahead of the international break- Kudus after standout performance against Leeds

Confidence ahead of the international break”, that’s how Mohammed Kudus summed up his mood after delivering a brilliant performance for Tottenham Hotspur in their 2-1 comeback win over Leeds United on Saturday.

The Ghanaian international was the standout figure at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, assisting the equaliser and scoring the decisive winner his first goal since making a high-profile move from West Ham United during the summer transfer window.

The victory ended a two-match winless run for Spurs, and Kudus’ performance could not have come at a better time.

“It’s definitely a boost to get the win here and score to lift up the confidence going out into the international break.”

The 23-year-old now has one goal and four assists in the Premier League this season, and his growing influence in the Spurs attack is clear.

Quick, creative, and composed under pressure, Kudus is beginning to justify the hype that followed his arrival in North London.

His next assignment will be with the Ghana national team as they prepare for two crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.

The Black Stars will first take on the Central African Republic in Morocco before returning home to play Comoros in their final group-stage fixture.

With a ticket to the World Cup on the line, Kudus will be expected to play a key role.

After a confidence-boosting performance for Spurs, Mohammed Kudus heads to international duty full of belief  and in top form.
