Dr. Jebuntie Zaato Donates 2 balls and Gh¢500 to Wiakandolung FC

Wiakandolung FC is a football team formed in 2009 in Tumu by young talented football fans, the team has operated since then till date. the team Currently plays the Sissala Premier League in the Sissala East Municipality, they are in group D with 9 points, they currently toping the group. they aim to be in the Ghana Premier League in the next 4 to 5 years woth the right support and commitment from team members and the general public.

As a team without any strong financial muscle, they depend on individual contributions and some benevolent people in society. on this back drop the team through their secretary Mr. Pobe Jabin wrote a letter to Dr. Jebuntie Zaato to support the team and if possible adopt the team. they requested for several items including footballs, Cannes, jerseys, cost of travels and many other things.

Responding to their letter, Dr. Zaato presented two standard footballs and Gh¢500.00 to cater for their minor expenses as his initial support. he also promised the team that he will buy the jersey and customized it, and also take up the other cost in due time. he said he was supporting the team because of the respect they showed him by the team leadership.

the items were presented by his Revered aide and political strategist Mr. Emmanuel Badunmie on his behalf, he advised them to take their training seriously and that their doors are always open for them when they need them. He said for his busy schedules, he could have taken up the coaching role but he promised to train with them once a while.

the team captain who received the items on behalf of the team, thanked Dr. Zaato for the kind gesture and promised to put the balls into good use.
