Sissala Union Make resolutions at the Sissala Union AGM

The Sissala Union at its annual general meeting made resolutions for the development of the Sissala land. the meeting was held at the Sissala East Assembly Hall on 27^th December 2024.

In attendance were the chiefs, including the chief of Funsi, kuoro Dagbasu Basuglo I, the chief of Pulima, Kuoru Deiwiah Nankpa III and Zini, Kuoro Abu Diaka Sukabe Ninia V, the queen mother of Kandia, Bushira Gariba, MCE, Sissala East, Hon. Yakubu Batong Fuseini and other dignitaries.

The resolutions, as read by Chakura Dramani, the secretary included:

1. Unity of purpose
2. A visit by chiefs and queen mothers to congratulate the president-elect, John Dramani Mahama before he is sworn in
3. During the visit, a plea should be made to the president regarding the poor road network
4. Sissala Union executives should work in uniting Sissala paramount chiefs to push the Sissala development agenda in unison
5. An appeal should be made to the incoming government not to abandon the roads under construction in the area awarded by the previous government.
