An entrepreneur, Hon. Osman Kajia,to sponsor 15 individuals to study the GFA License D Coaching Course
In an interview with Mr. Aaron Doho, the PRO of Sissala premier league(SPL) and District Football Association(DFA) on Radford Sports Summit on Saturday 13th July 2024, he stated that Hon. Osman Kajia, the assembly member for Kpaviara Yalia Electoral Area, Chairman Sissala East Municipal Football Association and also an entrepreneur is bringing an initiative to sponsor 15 individuals to pursue a License D coaching course. Aaron explained that the goal is to significantly increase the number of certified coaches in Sissala land, enabling teams to have at least two tactical personnel supporting their head coaches.
When asked about eligibility criteria, Aaron stated that everyone is eligible, but priority will be given to those who can read and write. He also mentioned that SPL has identified some individuals who will automatically benefit from the initiative. Interested parties can contact Aaron Doho or visit the DFA office for more information.
As the DFA spokesperson, Aaron announced that Kulfuo Dreams FC and Soccer Babies will be promoted to Division Two. He also revealed that registration for new teams to join Division Three has commenced, with a fee of GHC15,000.00. A surprising increased in the fee, and Aaron explained that last season’s fee was GHC5,000.00, but the GFA increased it by 300% this season. The payment is made directly to the GFA’s account.
