CHALLU REAL STARS WON THE SISSALA PREMIER LEAGUE
Sissala premier league is newly formed league within the Sissala enclave and 32 teams registered for the maiden edition. The league seek to unearthed football talents in the Sissala land and to help market players for other clubs in the premier divisions to call players for justifies and if possible selection, it also seeks to instilled peace and unity within in the area. A lot of players do not get the needed support to progress to the next level and this is an opportunity to help solve that status quo.
The idea to bring this into fruition started from kpaviara Yalia Assembly member, Hon. Osman Adamu Kajia, a young entrepreneur. Hon. Kajia is the primary sponsor for the maiden edition with support from other partners.
Challu Real stars won the maiden edition of the Sissala premier league. Led by their captain, Sumaila and Eliasu popularly known as “Anaboah” a seasoned veteran with a wealth of experience, they faced off against Nabulo fc, a tough opponent who had been touted as the favorites to win.
Despite being the underdogs in the competition because they qualified through playoff against Pieng young generation. The team showed remarkable grit and determination, refusing to back down in the face of adversity. They employed a clever strategy, exploiting their opponent’s weaknesses and capitalizing on their own strengths.
The match was a thrilling encounter, with both teams creating scoring opportunities and displaying exceptional skill. However, it was the winning team’s unwavering resolve and unrelenting pressure that ultimately paid off, as their early goal scored by Anaboah was cancelled and they restored their lead before half-time.
The final whistle blew, and the team erupted in joy, celebrating their historic victory. They had achieved the impossible, winning the maiden edition of the Sissala premier league against all odds. Their triumph was a testament to their teamwork, dedication, and unyielding spirit.
Today the league came to a successful end with challu Real stars 2:1 Nabulo fc. Elyasu Imoro (Anaboah) won the golden boot with 8 goals, best goal keeper goes to Bapuun Rauf and Batong Emmanuel won the overall best player.
Bavia moses popularly known as Ghanaman gave the vote of thanks and the tournament came to an end on 9th June, 2024. We hope to begin the league again for another edition.
