Sissala East MP Targets Health Facility Upgrades Through Infrastructure Investment
The Member of Parliament for Sissala East, Hon. Mohammed Issah Bataglia, says investments in healthcare infrastructure within the municipality are intended to prepare health facilities for possible future upgrades.
Speaking at the commissioning of new laboratories at Nabulo and Kulfuo, the MP said the intervention was part of a broader effort to address infrastructure gaps that could affect the upgrading of health facilities.

He said the project was initiated after consultations with the Municipal Health Directorate identified the lack of diagnostic laboratories as a major challenge.
Hon. Bataglia said additional challenges at the facilities would also be addressed to ensure they meet the necessary infrastructure requirements when efforts are made to upgrade them to polyclinic status.

Meanwhile, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Adamu Yakubu, highlighted other health infrastructure projects in the municipality.
These include a CHPS compound at Nabulo Fachoboi, the recently completed Kuruboi CHPS compound and plans for a new facility at Vamboi. The developments form part of ongoing efforts to expand healthcare infrastructure and services across Sissala East.
