Soccer Babies Football Club gives back to Society
On Saturday 26th January, 2025, a second division team by name Soccer Babies FC in Tumu in the Sisaala East Municipality generously donated to the maternity ward of the Sisaala East Municipal Hospital in Tumu.
This donation, the first of its kind, was in line with the philanthropic philosophy of the club, which sees the need to show compassion in its dealings.
Though still in a crawling stage, the donation was necessary in its small ways.
Bars of soap were each given to patients admitted at the time of donation, and also some were given out to nurses on duty for personal use. In addition, some gallons of liquid detergents were given out for the cleaning of the ward.
This, the club thinks, would pave the way for others to emulate.
