Kuoro Savei Zakaria Takes Office as New Headmaster of Kanton Senior High School

In a warm and celebratory ceremony today, 4th November, 2024 during the morning assembly of Kansec, Kuoro Savei Zakaria officially assumed his role as Headmaster of Kanton Senior High School (Kansec). The new headmaster was welcomed with applause as he met the school’s staff and addressed students for the first time in his new capacity, marking the beginning of his leadership journey at Kansec.

During his introductory speech, Kuoro Savei Zakaria expressed his enthusiasm for the role and reassured the school community that his focus would be on positive development. “Nothing will change except a few things for the progress of the school,” he stated, promising that he would soon provide a more detailed address after receiving briefings from the various departments and units within the school.

Prior to his appointment as Headmaster, Kuoro Savei Zakaria made significant contributions to Kanton Senior High School over his decade-long tenure. He previously served as the head of the English department, held the position of Housemaster for Boys House 5, and was a Form Master, in addition to his role as an English language teacher.

The Kansec community is optimistic about his vision and leadership, with many hoping he will steer the school toward new heights and make it a beacon of academic excellence in the region.
