SISSALA EAST CONSTITUENCY NPP WOMEN’S WING CONFERENCE

The Sissala East Constituency Women’s Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), led by Fadila Luri, organized a women’s conference on July 21, 2024, at the TUCE Conference Hall. The conference aimed to mobilize women to support the NPP’s bid to “break the eight” in Ghana.
Attendees included women from all branches in the constituency, national and regional women organizers, the Municipal Chief Executive, the Member of Parliament for Sissala East, electoral area coordinators, and constituency executives from Sissala East and West.
Fadila Luri welcomed everyone and emphasized the significance of the conference, despite the busy farming season. She expressed the wing’s commitment to supporting Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s presidential bid and Hon. Amidu Chinnia Issahaku’s re-election as Member of Parliament.
Ibrahim Bilali, NPP Constituency Organizer, encouraged the party faithful to continue supporting the party to achieve victory.
Suarah Bakuri Tahiru, Constituency Chairman, tasked the women to spread the party’s message and make their women’s groups meetings NPP meetings.
Madam Nancy A. Dery, Upper West Regional Women Organizer, reminded the women of the party’s achievements and urged them not to be deceived by opposition propaganda.
Hon. Amidu Chinnia Issahaku, Member of Parliament for Sissala East, expressed his appreciation for the support and highlighted his achievements, including providing ambulances, boreholes, and road construction. He also offered to debate former NDC members of Parliament to compare their records.
The conference aimed to mobilize women to support the NPP’s bid to “break the eight” in Ghana and retain power to continue providing quality education and development projects.
